The Everyday Tool for Every Vessel Designer

Did you know that PV Elite is a complete solution for designing and analyzing your vessels and heat exchangers? The program is simple to learn and quick to use, so it is perfect for when you require a fast start-up and confidence in your engineering calculations. The solution considers the whole vessel and addresses all of the wall thickness rules and stress analysis requirements for vertical towers, horizontal vessels and heat exchangers.

PV Elite includes the most commonly used pressure vessel design codes: ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & 2, PD 5500, and EN 13445. It also includes API-579 for Fitness for Service evaluations to prolong the safe use and operation of equipment. As an engineer, it gives you the right tools at your fingertips to solve daily challenges with ease and speed.

Join me as I host our Analysis Fundamentals PV Elite webinar on Oct. 7 to learn more about its many features that make designing your vessels easier. I will be expanding on the below:

  • The Status Bar, shown below, which allows you to verify, at a glance, that each element has the required thickness for the specified pressures, as well as showing you the MAWP and the MAPnc, amongst other values

  • The Quick Calculations that can be used to check nozzle reinforcement before you run the complete vessel analysis
  • The automatic design options that allow PV Elite to modify your vessel design to save you time

At the end of the webinar, we’ll also have a Q&A section, so you can have your questions answered. Follow this link to register or to learn more about the Analysis Fundamentals webinar series, which also covers CAESAR II, Visual Vessel Design (VVD) and GT STRUDL. I look forward to seeing you there.
