Asset Model Update - October 2025

The following Asset Models have been released. For a complete list of enhancement/fixes, please refer to the product Release Notes.

Asset Models Released and/or Updated:

Rockwell Studio 5000 v2.1.0.8

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Ladder Rung objects will now display the rung in a graphical way.
  • Routines for Ladder Diagrams will now display the entire ladder rung diagram graphically.
  • Safety ladder instructions are added to the asset model.
  • Fixed import errors.
  • Fixed an issue with Rockwell Studio 5000 not showing Hardware Overview and IO Spares.
  • Fixed an issue with import errors when using the Reference script Ladder Rung - Tag.
  • Fixed an issue with instructions not always showing comments.
  • Fixed an issue with Tag-to-Tag references missing.
  • New Data Collection is NOT REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.
    • Note: A new Asset Model Property ‘Create Ladder Rung Graphics (Yes/No)’ is added. The default value is Yes. Change this to No if Ladder Rung graphics are not needed. Creating ladder rung graphics can add considerable import time depending on the number of rungs and the complexity of the rungs.

SNMP Network Devices v1.2.0.2

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Added support for the Catalyst IE3200 Rugged Series Switches in SNMP Network Devices.
  • Added support for the Cisco ISA 3000-2C2F Industrial Security Appliance in SNMP Network Devices.
  • Added support for the Cisco IE1000 Ruggedized Industrial Ethernet switch in SNMP Network Devices.
  • Added support for the Cisco IE4010 Ruggedized Ethernet switch in SNMP Network Devices.
  • Modified the SNMP Data Collection Processor for Siemens Scalance X324/XR324 specific data collection.
  • Modified SNMP Network Devices' file save algorithm to accommodate large files.
  • Masked all passwords on the screen of the DCC.
  • Notes viewer is now configured for Data owner object type.
  • Replaced all Data Encryption Standard (DES) encryption with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption).
  • New Data Collection is REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model’s release.
