Asset Model Update - April 2024

Asset Models for the following Industrial Control Systems (ICS) have been released. For a complete list of enhancement/fixes, please refer to the product Release Notes.

Asset Models Released and/or Updated:

Schneider Unity Pro v1.2.0.2 AB PLC5 v4.9.0.0

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Added support for both Schneider Unity Pro and Schneider Control Expert in both asset model and data collection tools.
  • Fixed various import error when unzipping ZEF files.
  • Fixed an issue of import being stuck at 6%.
  • Fixed an issue of SFC diagram not available. Also made improvement to better support other types of program. (LL984, LD, FBD, SFC, XCR) Simplified the data collection process by removing the need to manually collect Folder "1033". Also, the supplementary ModuleDesccription.CFF is no longer required and is removed for the asset model folder.
  • Added the option for Inventory-Only import for asset model and data collection tool. NewFiles.txt is created after successful data collection for DC3 integration.
  • Switched to collecting graphics for LL984, LD, FBD, SFC, XCR programs in PDF format instead of XPS format to fix the issue of XPS files cannot be displayed by Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers.
  • New Data Collection is REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

AB PLC5 v4.9.0.0

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Fixed an import error when parsing Message objects in XPS files.
  • New Data Collection is NOT REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

SNMP Network Devices v1.1.0.0

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Added support for Cisco 2960, Cisco 2960CX, and Fortinet 61E and Siemens XR324.
  • Fixed a bug where information required for vulnerability matching was missing.
  • New Data Collection is REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from the previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

PAS Recon v6.0.0.4

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Support for Microsoft Provisioned Apps has been provided for Windows 10. For existing users with Windows 10 machines, the change logs will be found after upgrading the asset model from release 5.8.0.1 to this release, with the following changes:
    • The properties ResourceID and Region will be deleted for the existing Product objects of type Provisioned App.
    • Change may be found for value for property Architecture.
    • New Product objects might get added.
  • Change log may be found for values for following properties for UserAccount objects upon upgrading model to this release:
    • Last Password Change Date
    • Number of Days since Last Password Change
    • Last Logon
  • This model release contains enhancement to match PAS Recon Product list to the list appearing under Add/Remove Programs for the Computer Systems.
  • Fixed an error in Process Group Policies.
  • Fixed an issue with Endpoint Data deletion in Distributed Collection.
  • Data Collection script works for .NET 3.5 and later.
  • New Data Collection is REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from previous version.
    • New data collection is only required to match PAS Recon Product list to the list appearing under Add/Remove Programs for the Computer Systems. Other fixes/enhancements addressed in this release do not require new data collection.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.
